The real physics that explains planetary temperatures is a far cry - TopicsExpress

The real physics that explains planetary temperatures is a far cry from the simplistic and incorrect nonsense promulgated by climatologists. That is why they have had to corrupt the data and the science to meet their political motives - and for Al Gore to benefit from his substantial private investments in the field. Theres more on this in the Amazon book The Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science but Im here to talk about the correct physics involved and the new 21st century paradigm shift in climate science which is starting to take hold, and which explains why water vapour cools the planet rather than warms it by over 25 degrees as the IPCC would like you to believe. So too does carbon dioxide cool, but by less than a tenth of one degree. So lets start by testing your understanding of thermodynamics .... Q.1 Given that it requires a net energy input to raise the temperature of a planets surface, by what physical process does most of the required energy get into the surface of Venus in order to raise its temperature by 5 degrees during the course of its 4-month-long daytime? Q.2: Uranus is nearly 30 times further from the Sun than Earth is and it has a nominal troposphere about 350Km in height, being mostly hydrogen with about 15% helium. The radiating temperature is very cold, being less than 60K. What additional information would you need to calculate from this data the expected temperature at the base of the Uranus troposphere? Q.3: If you knew that the base of the Uranus troposphere is hotter than Earths surface, explain how you think the required energy gets down there in order to maintain such a temperature where there is no surface. Answers are in my book ... climate-change-theory/
