The real worry for Pakistan as I see is its batting. In the two matches we have won, there has been only one player defying the bowling with the rest failing to contribute sizeably. In total honesty, those are the only two players in the current line up I see capable of scoring 60s and 70s and raising a respectable total for Pakistan. For all money I believe everyone would agree neither K.Akmal, nor Malik nor Hafeez (At least till he plays at #3) would be able to contribute in such a manner, unless Afridi runs berserk and hits a valuable contribution in quick time of his own. The day U.Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad we are safe. The day they dont, I smell trouble for Pakistan. There seems too much dependency on these two players for respectable scores. Hafeez in all honesty can only probably score against weaker attacks and I wouldnt be surprised if he comes good 1 day and fails on the others. With the current trend , we need to hope these two players keep on firing for the next 3 matches for Pakistan to lift the WC. K.Akmal , Malik and Tanvir need to be replaced with Sharjeel, Bilawal Bhatti/Anwar Ali and Junaid Khan. Only then would it seem a balanced side.
