The really shitty thing about being told that you are smart your whole life is that as soon as you dont understand something, you just kinda completely shut down and this big stupid crisis evolves because maybe youre not as smart as youve always been told. I have no mechanical aptitude and Ill always be the first to admit it. Thats why Im not an Engineer or good at math or science. I gravitated to art, literature and other humanities all my life and it doesnt totally suck. But it sucks sometimes. #overit
