The reason people must not be offended by this image... Canada has denied its duty to accommodate First Nations and recognize their rights. Everything being equal in this country First Nations can not be condemned to you do not exist and have no rights. It does leave the factual question the legality of the state and its duties to Indigenous Peoples protecting Self-determination, Autonomy and Territorial Integrity. Contrary to what the state chooses to understand First nations do have rights to nationality, sovereignty and autonomy. The state and Canadian peoples do have duties to being settlers... The Crown is supposed to defend First nations from attacks from settlers on their territories integrity and uphold honor of the Crown in regards to our sovereignty. Canada could be considered treasonous for collaborating against First nations and all of their rights. It was promised by Crown and has been abandoned by Crown because they have let elected governments erode our territories, with held trusts that can be determined by First nations. When a state ignores their duties along with other nations their is accommodations that must be made. When the Canadian peoples ignore their duties it is a choice to work against First Peoples. It is also Canadians that must speak out for the suppression of international rights and autonomy. Separating powers is part of all democratic rights and right to autonomy. If the state, other nations and Canadians continue the road of colonization First Nations will be suppressed and still be treated as third class citizens. Young people are angry and have every right to be... First nations deserve the right to freedom and independence. We are in a time where the western world has failed and caused much harm and a legacy of pain. It doesnt have to be this way but the world continues to disregard Indigenous Peoples and still devalue Indigenous Peoples. This way of thinking is supremacist because it remains occupation, suppression, oppression and violation of human rights. When will Canadians change this very unhealthy treatment of peoples and their territories. Most people dont even really understand they hold duties as settlers and in BC you live in First Nations Territories not in a Canadian Country. Canada is still a state and not a Mother Country. Underrepresented Indigenous Peoples must protect their lands, rights and environment. It is sustainable to protect...
