The record-breaking (and LOUD) storms in Phoenix yesterday gave my neighborhood about 4 inches of rain in an hour. Fortunately, both my husband and I had planned to work at our computers all day, so we were good. Prayers to all who were stuck for hours, injured, or died, due to the flooding. Kudos to the firefighters, police, and all first responders, for rescuing people and clearing the wreckage and roadways so that life can mainly go on in this busy Valley.
