The regime is guilty of trying to weaken secular opposition, true. The regime prefers to portray all of its opponents as some dangerous bunch of fanatics. However ... secular opposition also tried their best, over the past 3 years, to destroy all opportunities for a constructive dialogue. Trust me (from experience) ... they mostly care about their narrow personal or party interests. Pure opportunists. (most of them, since we should never generalize) Here is an example: they trust the Americans and rush to Beirut to meet after a quick verbal promise of recognition of internal opposition by some American journalist. But when it comes to talking to the SYRIAN regime, they explain their boycott by: it takes proper foundations and we need guarantees before we talk to them طيب ليش حاطين شروط تعجيزية على حوار النظام (ضمانات و له اصوله) بس مع الامريكيين يللي عمرهم ما حترمو كلمتهم، ما بتتطلبو ضمانات؟ ... حسب قوله بترضيكون إذا من الامريكان الظاهر.
