The remorse for a sorry state of the people of Orissa was over our mind when we journeyed across Jharkhand (formerly under Bihar) to find something really beautiful and marvellous. It goes totally against the perception that we have for the state of Bihar. This place describes the peace and positivity with which the people have learned to respect different views and religion. The place in reckoning is the Shanti Stupa situated in the Bodhgaya district of Bihar. When we went there, it was flocked by both national as well as international visitors. There is a huge national reserve forest located right in front of the Stupa. Rajgir too was very beautiful and serene and marked with various Buddhist monasteries. It made us wonder why these places have not been included in the “must travel list” of the travellers. Although, we do see the pathetic state of affairs in the region as law and order remains one of the death kneels for the state. But, it’s hard to disagree that this place made us forget all and get mesmerized in the sanctity and soberness of the place. Make it your next travel destination and we assure you nothing sort of amazement
