The reports that journalist Joshua Sang was not in Waki Commission report list seems to infer he is in court wrongly. It is interesting how Kenyans are fixed with list in Waki Commission Envelope. It demonstrates our level of mediocrity. It shows failure to appreciate the working and rules governing evidence admissibility before the ICC. Erroneously, ignorance and ethnic thinking myopia , the Waki Commission report is hoisted as the epitome of ICC cases. Never! The only value it adds remains that it is government official record of the PEV. Its material content gives it more weight compared to any other PEV report. For instance, the police and NIS reports contained in the report are very vital to the Court judges. These are state investigations of PEV crimes including records of events before the violence. The fact Sang is not in Waki Commission envelop vindicate the OTP conducted independent investigations contrary to misguided political assertions and propaganda against the Court. OTP could have its weaknesses but the reality remain it has done its work professionally.
