The resort of intelligent people to continually establish parallels with totalitarian and extremist outcomes to a Yes vote is astonishing. Today its not Germany in the 1930s but Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood. The political void she speaks of is filled by a richness of political ideas on the Yes AND No sides. And, again, that familiar sentimentalism of liberal apologists: thanks for changing the nature of rUK politics, but can you all just calm down now, you are clearly not responsible enough to fulfil what you have created, dont be selfish. Where would progress be if we listened to voices like this?
