The results of us attending The Council Meeting tonight in Elkford did not end as we had hoped. There is no termination of this Cull. Mayor McKerracker, Shelly McLean, Craig Robinson and Mandy McGregor voted against ending it when Steve Fairbarin put it on the floor to terminate the cull. Joe Zarowny seconded it. We thank the two that tried to end the insanity. 39 Deer have died and the permit calls for 50. Surely 11 more deer is not going to make a difference. To the ones opposed we would like to let you know that you are instigating more stress and division in our community that you could of ended tonight. Elkfords best interests are obviously not as important as your pride and stubborness. The Meeting being adjorned right in the middle of questions being asked just proved how domineering and uncaring Elkfords Council has become.
