The rush has gone but the unbelievable memories will remain forever. The life of a pro rider on the Beat Cancer Tour exceeded my expectations. Seeing not only the professional Beat Cancer Tour team put together an excellent pro rider experience, having the opportunity to get close up and personal to the real pro riders was a buzz. One of the biggest highlights was having Jack Bobridge drop in at the team dinner after he won the first stage. Not only did he speak well, he was humble and he allowed us plenty of time to ask questions about the race and their team tactics for the next stage. A huge thanks to all the Cancer Council SA staff, Connect Sport Australia Pty Ltd and all the support crew. To all the riders, you made the week. We have definitely forged some strong friendships and there was some friendly banter that needs to be clarified next year. Bring on the 2016 Beat Cancer Tour, get in quick as it will fill up early. Even though I have been consumed by the life of a pro rider, I still have not forgotten my main goal of raising $55,000 for cancer research in honour of my Mum. Behind the scenes, some huge and exciting things have been developing. Below are some of my pro mates I ran into on tour. PS I managed to get a few sigs as well that I will auction off for iron5for55.
