The sabbath is really A Way, not a day. Its about working first then resting. Its the opposite way of debt and covetousness. Its not about getting stuff on credit, either personally on nationally, and then working to pay for it, and often passing the debt burden onto descendents so there is never any rest. The weekly sabbath is the same as the yearly and seven year cycle sabbaths and the 50th year jubilee. Its all about not going into debt, about not setting up centralized treasuries (golden calves) and monetized debt systems. So no matter what day you decide to sit on your rear end, if youre in debt in any way personally, or as a bound member of a nation-state, then you do not keep the Law of the Sabbath. hisholychurch.org/sermon/sabbath.php
