The salt of the earth Beauty of nature Bore flesh to replenish recycling life The burden of responsibility The peacemaker She is woman Abused and used She bounces back Resilient and strong Her resolve set All she has she gives Because she is woman Life lessons she teaches Guidance and prayer Love in times of turmoil She gives her life for her cause As she cries out to God For strength to give more of what she doesn’t have All because she is a woman Food on the table When there is no bread How does she budget the stipend she gets? Her gifts are enormous Her will is strong You know she is a woman A woman she is The mother of nature The bearer of children Her head held high She is proud To be called wife Leader and protector She holds you up When you are about to fall She gives you hope When you are about to fail Her words are strength She is your rock A shoulder to cry on Your problem solver Her counsel is wise Never underestimate The power of the woman And As always I Proud To be A Woman ...!!!!
