The same wierd Aussie guy made a comment that all world religions will eventually merge into one, and that Buddhism will never take over other religions. Well, Buddhism is not really a religion in the first place as it does not impose any beliefs on people and it is more like a science or philosophy based on investigating the laws of the universe as noted by Einstein. If you declare that you do not believe in Newtons law of gravity and jump through the window, you will still fall to your death; likewise the universal laws taught by Buddha will work on you regardless of whether you believe in them or not. Even if you kill every Buddhist on earth and burn all the Buddhist sutras, you will still experience the workings of the law of karma. In Buddhism there is no supreme being to decide what punishment or reward one would get; how you behave will enact a corresponding response from the universe on you.
