The saviors life on earth was a life if prayer. He spent many hours alone with God. After the Passover he had with his disciples, he went up to the garden of Getsemane where he often went to pray. He walked with then and taught then. All his life Jesus had lived for his father. The spirit of God had been his constant guide and support. The terrible nyt of agony for the savior began as they neared the garden. It seemed that the presence of God which had been his support was no longer with him. He was beginning to feel what it was to be shut out from his Father. Christ must bear the sins of world. As they were now laid upon him, they seemed more than he could endure. The guilty of sin was too terrible. He was tempted to fear that God could no longer love him and in Mat 26:38 he said my heart is full of sorrow and breaking with sadness. With 3 of the 12 he went with then to the garden and said in Mat 26:38 stay here with me and watch. And in verse 39 he cried out my father if it is possible do not give me this cup of suffering, but do what u want not what I want. He went back to the 3 disciples expecting words of comfort and sympathy but in vail as they were asleep. And he addressed Peter and said Simon y are sleeping? U could not wait awake with me for an hour? And in verse 41 of Mat 26 the disciples said the spirit is willing but the fletch is weak. Dear friends this morning lanxa okusatane kungakunyathela ekuvoxavoxe never ever bow for him. The battle has been fought and Jesus won it. I like it when Paul writes in Romans 8:31 that: what then shall we say in responce of these things? If God is for us, who can be against us. Zhlobo asinyatheleni ngesibindi, singethuswa yikhasi lenyoka. Yebo kambe these few problems u are going thru has to make u strong. These few disorders we see in life has to sharpen us for tmr for our Jesus walked in this journey paving the way for us and for that reason we have to walk freely. Bhudi nawe sisi Jesus walked this horrible unbearable journey because he loved u. Jesus was tortured, spited on because he loved. He was accused and hung on that cross because of u. In return what are u giving him? Do u think he is happy seeing u traped into that sin? Poverty? Abusive relationship that u chose it for yoself? No he is not and he is saying to somebody this morning come out her my son and receive life in fullness. In Revelation 3:20 he is saying if anyone hears my voice and in John 10:27 he says my sheep listen to my voice. Which voice to u listens to? JK
