The scrapping of FYUP by Smriti Irani will be a purely RSS led Poll promise being delivered as confirmed by a senior member of the ministry! I guess Prof. Dinesh Singh was too experimental to create excellence in a country where a 12th pass becomes MHRD without herself being able to pass the first year BA and in a culture where people strive to get more by doing less... Obviously, a standard 4 year model of the present education system worldwide is not accpeptable to so many here, because they want a degree by studying (or lets say by loitering outside college) for only 3 years! The excellence concept is purely flop in a drone culture of Delhi as Delhiwalas want everything without doing any hard work... Bad experiment Professor... All respect for you Sir, but, Delhi isnt ready, and probably never will be... I guess the universities in other states wouldnt be that resistant to a good change. Being the ONLY Universitas 21 signatory member you can lobby for the concept elsewhere in India too...
