The second to last mural from this years Re.Discover Bunbury festival was painted by Japanese artist Hiroyasu Tsuri, aka Twoone (pronounced Two One). When asked about the idea behind the artwork, he explained The bird is called a Cormorant. They are normally a black bird but Im interested in using lots of colours in a playful gesture. Thats why I chose a black bird, so I wouldnt get too influenced by its original colours. When I first got the photo of the wall I was going to paint, it was taken from across the road so I designed the main parts to be seen from further away. The head kind of pokes up so when you walk out and look back youll see bright colours and a cheeky bird.
