The shelter is asking for soft training treats for our PETS program. The soft treats help to motivate the dogs while they are in the program for 8 weeks learning basic obedience, potty training and crate training. The dogs that are sent to this program are the ones in the shelter that are less likely to be picked for adoption. They are passed over sometimes when they sit in the corner instead of greeting adopters at the door of their kennel, they may be less socialized, not potty trained...whatever the reason, this program gives these dogs a second chance at a forever home. Please consider donating treats to help them learn. PETS stands for Pets Educated to Survive.
