The showers today have been less concentrated than they have the past couple of days. This is due to the slow moving upper low drifting south to the Arklatex region. The low is forecast to drift south to Houston by Friday and this will drag the main area of rain south. The storms over the Ozarks will become even more hit and miss. The chance for rain remains in the forecast through the weekend, however expect it to be more of a typical summer pattern for rain. Temperatures will warm a few degrees each day beginning Friday. Muggy conditions can be expected due to the combination of heat and humidity. Readings will eventually reach the upper 80s early next week. It looks like summer has finally arrived in the Ozarks!
