The simple steps that create WOW brows I often have clients enquiring about the process of semi permanent cosmetics and what the treatment entails. Particularly the much loved eyebrows so I thought I would write on overview of what to expect when booking in for one of my ‘WOW brow’ procedures… All semi permanent make up procedures are a 2 part treatment and are not deemed completed until your second one has been completed. For your first appointment and you will need to start off by completing a medical history and consent form, photographic release form and treatment plan. I complete the treatment plan with you as we consult and discuss you derided outcome. While you are doing this I will pre numb the surface of the skin for around 20 - 30 minutes. I then draw the brows on to a precise set of measurements ensuring the front, arch and tail of both brows are in the same place on both sides of the face and adapt my drawing to the kind of style you like ( rounded fronts / squared off fronts thinner brow / thicker brow etc ) and do a colour match. Together we then tweek this drawing until you are happy they are perfect (this is your opportunity to speak up or forever hold you peace. Remember these are your eyebrows! However I will always advise on what will frame your face in the most flattering way. ) This part of the appointment takes around half an hour usually as I am a perfectionist when it comes to the drawing! Then for the fun part….. I would then start the treatment and tattoo the brows in whichever style we have decided on using a variety of techniques these are either hair strokes, powdered or a block finish depending on what you like. This part of the treatment usually takes 1 - 1.5 hours so allow a total of 2 - 2.5 hours for your first appointment from arrival time. Next is the healing process which takes in total 4 weeks. You will be provided with after care advice as well as ointment to take away with you to help the healing process. once this is complete 4 – 6 weeks later you then come back for your top up. This is essential. I can not stress this enough! The top up is where I give your brows a colour boost ( most clients come back wanting a darker shade as they were apprehensive the first time around and went for a lighter shade.) and perfect them as no 2 brows ever heal the same after one treatment. Your top up ensures a perfect and beautiful long lasting result which will then only need topping up annually ( this is done at 12 - 18 Months and doesnt require a top up ) at a cost of £150.
