The simulation held inside the Kress Family Library in De Pere - TopicsExpress

The simulation held inside the Kress Family Library in De Pere challenged participants to confront the same sorts of struggles that dyslexic kids face every day. They took turns reading sentences that had been coded, writing words by guiding their hands upside-down in a mirror, and listening to a presentation distorted by outside noise. The 90-minute simulation left some of the 70 participants feeling emotional, because they realized the plight that children endure when living with dyslexia.
