The situation in Tacloban Leyte is horrible and unimageanable. Those who are criticizing the government for being slow to act in responding these crisis should STOP doing that, it would be better if they come to Leyte to see for themselves to see the real situation for themselves and contribute what they can do to help the survivors. Negatives rumors and criticisms add only more depression to the survivors once they know it. Leyte alone have 40 municipalities plus Tacloban City, each municipality have barrangays or villages. I was born and raise in baranggay Guinarona number of casualites 9, after 6 days still no releif goods but the people are patience hoping it will come. Guinarona is located in the Municipality of Dagami, Leyte 38kms from Tacloban, composed of 55 baranggays. My only request to the government, be SYSTEMATIC in desposing goods and rescue operation teams. The person in-charge should designate teams per municipality for effective disposal of relief goods so the people may have food and water to drink, SPREAD THE RELIEF OPERATIONS and RESCUE EFFORTS do not concentrate in Tacloban alone. Airlifting of goods is much better for fast response in delivering supply to devastated place. There is port in Municipal of Tanauan, the government can use it for delivering of releif operation. I hope this will be a moral lesson for future reponse if a calamity happen again (knock on wood)
