The smokey cockles with smoked chilli and bacon dashi had us at hello ($8), but its mildness meant we really truly had Dibs Singapore on the breaded pork cheek ($28), the big portion of flaky and flavourful crab cakes ($30), keropok- like blistered Brussels sprouts with puffed rice side dish ($10), and the warm apple pie with buttermilk ice-cream and bacon ($14), though, across the meal, there are tweaks that could be made. For starters, the plates could be warmer to negate the strong air conditioning. The closer - apple pie with bacon - was brilliant, though the thick and crunchy bacon was not salted. In all, good effort. Dibs just needs a little more...
