The sneakerheads proclaimed “Year of the 5s” has yielded some major heat. On one side of the coin there’s been some great retro’s re-released like the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” and the Air Jordan 5 “Grape”. And on the other side of that coin we’ve seen some great new colors like the Air Jordan 5 “Black Grape” and Air Jordan 5 “Fear”. And to latter end we now get a deeper look at a breathtakingly FRESH new colorway. Named the Air Jordan 5 “Bel-Air”, the kicks find inspiration in the always colorful Will Smith on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Smith was known for his dope kicks, flashy clothing, and reversed Bel Air Academy blazer. These kicks personify that character to a T. The kicks feature Jordan’s coveted cool grey throughout the upper. And that’s as mundane as it gets. The sole is a striking court purple. Pink and lime green poop off as accents on the shoe, coloring the fire on the sole, stitched 23 number, and Jordan logos. Another extremely bright spot is the lining which is composed of a bright colorful print lining. These kicks are sure to turn heads and break wallets if missed. And so you don’t miss it, the release date is October 5th for a heightened price of $185. Keep it locked to KOF for more info.
