The so called social safety net has made its participants into demanding, unappreciative takers, at the expense of the taxpayers; not the government. When liberals campaign, they ensure the vote of those on the government dole goes to them, by threatening system reform at the hands of their political opponents. Never mind that every self respecting, able bodied person should earn their own keep. Otherwise, theyre just using the government to take for their own use what others have earned.
