Two voters have filed a petition with the National Assembly, seeking the removal of Rongai MP Raymond Moi and his Emgwen counterpart Alex Kosgey for absconding current session without permission from the Speaker. The petitions are based on Article 103(1) (b) of the Constitution which empowers the Speaker to declare office of an MP vacant in case they miss eight consecutive sittings without his written permission.
