The sound that many of you may have heard this morning was a result of the wadded panties of the huddled masses unfurling, here in the PNW, due to the fact that out temperatures will be in the 70s today. We have had a series of 85 degree days that the news media were declaring heat advisories for and had many of the public hiding from the catastrophic heat wave. ;) Now, those afflicted will have a couple of months to await the frigid temps when it dips below 40. Folks, if only you knew how silly this all looks to 95% of the country. Our temps, here, are pretty close to perfect and most would trade for them in a heartbeat.
