The steam passes through the material. It releases the oils. The steam and material flow up and over to the heat exchanger. Simple double tube. Cold ice water is pumped through the outer tube. It cools the oil and steam back to liquid phase. The liquid collects in the bottom tube. Oil and water separate depending on viscosity. The water is called hydrosol. It is infused with the material. Smells good. Takes about 4 hours. We will post the end product
