The story gets weirder the more you hear/read about it. Ray Rice and his fiancee are arrested and both charged with assault. TMZ tries to get video of the incident but can only get video outside an elevator showing Rice and his unconscious fiancee after the incident. The NFL sees the video and meets with Rice, who tells them he punched his fiancee in the elevator knocking her out. The NFL decides to give him a 2 game suspension. Seven months later TMZ finally gets their hands on the video inside the elevator showing Rice doing exactly what he said he did. The NFL sees the video of Rice doing exactly what he said he did, says its the first time they saw the video, and suspend him indefinitely. The NJ Attorney General says theres no way they had the video before TMZ got it because it would have been illegal. TMZ claims the NFL had the elevator video all along, even though TMZ couldnt get it until seven months later (and Im pretty sure they paid a lot more than the NFL for it). Then some anonymous dirty cop admits to breaking the law and providing the video unsolicited to an anonymous person in an unknown office of the NFL seven months ago. Seems to me there are a LOT of people who need to be losing their jobs over this, and a few that probably need to go to jail. What a mess!
