The story of the ducks rescued from the sewer drain near The Ritz Theatre Tuesday has a happy ending. The ducks had to be re-rescued from the drain that evening. Elmwood at The Shawhans director of nursing took the ducklings home, and the mother duck had returned this morning. The mother duck was in the river, and her ducklings were dropped off the bridge. One by one, they returned to the mother duck.
