The streets of winter park are safe again. Thanks to Winter Park police fighting crime, combing streets, protecting resinents from menace moms. Yes. Menace Moms. Halloween night one of these moms had stepped off the sidewalk occupied by gaggles of trick or treaters to have a cigarette. Moms misfortune? She was in possession of a Mich Ultra snugged safely in a koozie. Police roll up to question mom, instruct her to put down her frosty beverage and return to the sidewalk. Crime averted. Bravo! Few understand her true crime was possession of a Koozie - the only offense mercifully overlooked by the officers who are tough on crime. Good thing mom wasnt arrested for, oh - lets say, speeding her car past groups of families celebrating Halloween. That would have been a waste of tax payer money.
