The study lesson we had today was a reminder that prayer should be constant. We should be working on our relationship with Jehovah always. He is our best friend but we wouldnt want to use prayer to him as a last resort. In the public discourse, Matthew 6:9 was reviewed as what things Jehovah wants us to ask for in prayer. Having distress in our lives should not tear us down when we have him near! No matter what the problem, we can ask for help and then wait for the answer. We are in difficult times. What better time to be close to Jehovah. We are not in a perfect world....yet! We need Him! The world has its own set of remedies for hard times and stress. None of them strengthen our relationship with Jehovah! Malachi 3:10 always gives me the assurance that Jehovah is not blind nor apathetic. He knows our needs! Personally, I keep Him close as I can in dealing with everyday responsibilities and obligations!
