The stupidity of some people who will not accept that the whole world is under attack by islam is just appalling. I wont quote the whole email I received a copy of yesterday from our Chairman written by a bloke up north who sends us both incredibly long rants about nothing. But this one is the stupidest he has ever written. As a result, I have set up an email filter to delete any message he ever sends me again before I even see it. My comments are in (): You are surely aware that your C.E.O. - he says several times - reported Jihadist gunman Man Haron Monis to the National Security Hotline... Mike advised me:- I also reported Monis to the National Security Hotline by phone and email. I am in touch with them all the time. Mike also sent me a series of attachments: specifically an exchange of communications between himself and facebook, to whom he had protested the content of Moniss facebook, objecting to such disturbing Monis items as Death to Israel and Ban the Australian Flag. Each of these attachments was dated 9 December, again - well before the siege. Mikes covering comments included: (Mikes previous message to him) Attached are the posts I and many others reported, as well as screenshots of the reaction from Facebook...or as we call it now...Fezbook because they are so biased in favour of islam. Given the co-operation Mike is flagging here, of both state police and federal security authorities, surely even you Charles should wonder WHY his reports/ warnings were so comprehensively IGNORED by National Security ? (Really?) Dare I suggest that National Security arent taking i4i seriously - that they have concluded that i4i is just an outpost of the ratbag brigade. A view that is totally understandable, given the volume of blatantly ridiculous claims contained on the i4i website. (Nice of him to give me so much credence.) Equally, however, National Security also failed to take Man Haron Monis seriously - and HIS claims seem even more absurd that i4is. Just as Mike accessed and monitored Moniss facebook content, Monis would most certainly have been accessing and studying the i4i website - indeed, facebook would have automatically advised Monis of Mikes 9 December objections. (this moron doesnt use facebook, doesnt understand how it works -- FB do not tell the person being complained about....they just review the page/content and if it is against their Community Standards they delete...no warnings given) Ergo, i4i electronically engaged Man Monis, endorsing LINDT in the process, well before the siege, but FAILED to alert National Security to the Jihadists activities, in spite of seemingly NUMEROUS attempts to do so on the part of your C.E.O. (Seems to me this moron is making much ado about nothing) DUE, undoubtedly, to the general, overall lack of credibility in the i4i body of work, which National Security could NOT be reasonably expected to take seriously. (Really?) Your C.E.O. in effect is the crusader who cried wolf - resulting in National Security ignoring his reports/warnings- and hence dismissing them out-of-hand when he spotted the REAL wolf. Who was not a lone wolf, as the authorities, police and pollies want us to believe. (Really?) Charles - whereas your C.E.O seems somewhat out-of-his-depth, i4i is NOT WITHOUT INFLUENCE. However, its just possible that i4is influence in recent weeks has impacted with tragic unintended consequences. Granted, Monis had a RANGE of reasons to target the Lindt Coffee Shop, not least of which was the central heart of the city location, its adjacency to the 7 Network head-office and national news room, and proximity of the U.S. Consulate. Nonetheless, i4is endorsement of Lindt (flying off the shelves) is curious - and unfortunate. Bottom line, if you really want your anti-Mozzie campaign to be taken seriously, i4i needs desperately to identify and address the real problems - and give-up on a lot of the silly scare-stuff that National Security seems to have, understandably, DISMISSED as nothing more than ratbaggery. (So all you ratbags out there....isnt it nice to know that we are nothing but a bunch of deluded ratbags?)
