The support for Oklahoma students was amazing today! We didnt go just to rally for better pay although wed have the right to! We are rallying for adequate funding for our children! Educators enter the profession because of their passion for children and learning. Education is the pathway to success and vital to the futures of our children. Schools need funding to operate yet every year per pupil expenditure is cut in Oklahoma. This can result in overloaded classrooms, not enough text books, and many other problems. The kids have to pay for it and they deserve better than 49th in the nation.
