The surgeon finally came in to see me about the surgery at 5:00. He is really busy doing surgeries. He is a cardio/pulmonary surgeon and is supposed to be the best. The surgery will be around 2:00 on Friday. He said I will have to stay in the hospital at least 4 or 5 days after the surgery. I have already been here 2 days so it looks like a good week. The procedure is called Pleuracentosis if you want to look it up. The reason I have to stay is because they put a tube for drainage and they have to monitor it. That is all I know for now. Will let you know how things went as soon as I am able.
