The tale of Long Tail continues..... and to the rescue comes Barb Potter of 4 The Luv of Luna. Our feral fella is lucky enough to have had Cat Chance of Sarnia, find him comfort & care with an amazing, albeit, struggling cat foster haven & sanctuary... and, the ONLY one of its kind in the Lambton area in fact! We were very lucky to get Long Tail into 4 The Luv of Luna~~~! Thank you Barb and Team Luna! But: 4 The Luv of Luna NEEDS OUR HELP BADLY~! 4 The Love of Luna was named by Barb Potter, despite whose valiant efforts led to the loss of her precious & nursing furbaby Luna during a home fire ten years ago. Ever since, Barb lives for cat rescue, providing sanctuary & fostering and TNR. Barb even goes out of her way every winter building adequate shelter wherever she sees the need. If there were no Barb Potter running 4 The Luv of Luna, there would simply be no cat place like this in existence. Thank you very much Barb for all of the work you do taking care of the kittehs~! Running 4 The Love of Luna requires a great deal of time & commitment, (and honestly, a great deal of ones own personal finances). PLEASE WONT YOU CONSIDER DONATING to help keep not only Long Tail in comfort at 4 The Love of Luna, but the other kitties housed there too- AND to help Barb with the daily needs & demands of operating a foster-sanctuary. Long Tail was not a cheap rescue for Cat Chance. Not only were the veterinary bills expensive, but just feeding him from now on will not be cheap either, as he MUST has soft food, for the rest of his life, because he has NO TEETH! Barb TRIES to get the cats in sanctuary wet food once a week, but even that can be challenging. So: WE. NEED. MONEY~!! ANd Funds are needed for a window (seen in pictures) to be turned into a sliding door- as it is very taxing - the crawling & schlepping things in and out of window every day! Another new entry door is needed, as the crack in the bottom allows for a steady stream of cold air to drift in. There are two separate trailers that require non stop heating. Funding for some rebuilding & winterizing is desperately needed before it gets too cold! DId you know there is no water source at for 4 The Love of Luna Sanctuary? Barb spends her time and energy running back and forth with water jugs, washing cat pans indoors, dishes etc. Running non-stop from house to barn, whatever the weather. Funds are badly needed for a water source and washer & dryer in the barn location. For those who can provide these items, 4 The Love of Luna is also always in constant need of bath matts, blankets, bedding, towels, sheets, litter, cat food wet & dry, paper towels, dish and laundry soap. Various cleaning supplies. Bottom Line: 4 The Luv of Luna NEEDS OUR HELP BADLY~!
