The tensions are coming to the fore but government instead of listening and doing what they promise, and are mandated to do, are turning more and more to violence even as the pain, poverty and misery of the people gets deeper and deeper. The people had such high hopes in 1994 but those hopes are now dashed to the ground as a greedy corrupt elite loots the country and oppresses in the name of freedom. If ANC is to retain credibility it must abandon petty politics and turn from the Capitalist and neo liberal agenda that it adopted in 1994.The people need a clean, competent government that can deliver not one that protects the oppressor at the expense of the oppressed nor loots state coffers like deranged kleptocrats. The people have suffered enough and they need relief not an exchange of oppressors in the name of liberation and democracy. With the billions we are losing annually to fraud and corruption we can make a mark against poverty, housing and medicare. Enough is enough or we will end up with a violent banana republic and no means to turn back.
