The terrorist attack in Paris overnight is shameful and barbaric. It reminds us how important it is to both cherish and defend our values. Freedom of expression is the cornerstone of a free and democratic world. I thought you may be interested in how the front pages of the French newspapers Le Equipe and La Croix reported the terrible news. The headline in La Croix says “France is bruised” and Le Equipe says “Liberty – 0, Barbarism – 12’.
