The thesis of my book on Indias National security crisis stands validated. This is the end of the divisive and disastrous Mandal era- designed to keep India weak and divided along caste lines. There has been a marked right Wing nationalist consolidation in India. The election was fought on national and not local issues of caste based affirmative action. The issues were corruption, dynastic rule, destruction of our political economy through doles and endless subsidies and above all a self- inflicted National Security crisis through a dangerous sabotage of our military acquisition process.The Indian electorate has recognised the dangers of this drift due to a series of coalition govts and have voted a strong , central govt in Delhi. Let this now aggressively promote our national interests and revive our faltering economy to rapidly create jobs. Secondly let us make India militarily strong and cease appeasing all adversaries - from China to Pakistan, as also the Jihadis and Maoists.
