Here is the third part. The first of three subjects in his speech are about his childhood dreams - his big dreams as a small child and how it was achieved one by one, against impossible odds. Here, you can listen in Malayalam how, after his Ph. D, Prof. Randy applies and gets politely rejected by Disney Imagineering, his besotted work place. But finally he gets to achieve this and even more – the near impossible task of publishing a paper about his research there from a collaborative work. Prof Randy is telling the audience how to overcome the brick walls life erects before one, with his living example- spoken just before his impending death from cancer. Truly inspirational stuff. My wish is that the school children who listen to this speech in their mother tongue will benefit from ‘Last Lecture’; get off the beaten track of medical and engineering studies, take up jobs that match their talent, overcome the challenges that life throws at them and be interested in searching new avenues in life, thereby ultimately happy rather than rich.
