The time has come!!! Im getting ready to break through my first wall of fear for 2015. Flying has never been my strong suit and now I get to do it with the boys, both dogs, no husband and try to get through customs with my limited Spanish...and all of those bags! Yikes! I heard Father loud and clear to start tackling these fears head on and I think Im going to get a pretty hefty dose of out of my comfort zone this week. Im uncomfortable just thinking about it. I am finding it amazing how quickly it was possible to transition back into life here. As I packed and unpacked and repacked and repeated that process about four times, I found myself taking inventory of needs and wants and realizing that there were many more wants than actual needs.Out of the bags they went. I have a two foot candle holder that I actually tried to put into one of my bags. I really love that thing. I know its ridiculous but it is one of the comforts of home. As I tried to jam that thing into the bag over and over God reminded me that home is wherever He is and my joy is not in material things. I am reminding myself to be thankful for what we do have and all of the blessings that Father has given. Our house isnt fancy nor is it big (700 square feet, I believe). I havent even seen it in person yet! I havent even been to the city where we are moving either. There will be no decorations on the walls or too many things that give that homey feel. What it will have is my family together under one roof serving the Lord and I cant think of any place I would rather be. If we happen to cross your mind during the day tomorrow...would you mind saying a prayer for travel safety and that there are no issues getting the dogs onto the plane and then through customs? Poor Toby, we did a trial run with the bags and dogs and put him into his carrier. He looked like a sausage in a casing. He was not happy bless his heart. Hugs and blessings, friends! I love you
