Volunteer Veterinary service and food for critters in Gezi Park protest. Animals, our wonderful strays also are being affected with all police pressure water and gas. Yesterday, when I was sitting at Gezi Park. Youth was serving "Kandil" pastry (because it was very important religious day and kandil pastry is tradition). Picking up trashes from people. What also amazed and surprised me, you know there is small crumbs at bottom of tray when there is pastry. They were putting in plate and leaving for birds then they were collecting the trashes after they are empty. I never knew we had this youth... With bright face and shining eyes. Thought they were too busy playing game, watching stupid TV programs, running after one brand to other brand and messaging on smart phones. Of course there are people like that. But after seeing this yesterday; there is hope for us yet.
