The time is upon us , what so many of you have been waiting patiently and some of us not so patiently for has finally started about 10:15 pm ..Mabel has finally decided to get off the pot and have some pigs .. So far she has had 5 and no two look alike. I think there are 3 gilts so far but its dark and I dont want to handle them and get her upset so I am just watching and directing traffic , it may be awhile so the final count and photos will be tomorrow morning .. here are a few to get you through the night..Check out that big spotted pig Cathy Penrod Nebel , Mary Olmstead I already picked out the one I am naming after you ! Its that little white one laying on its back under moms tail , it came out faster than a wet fart . So far only one looks like a berk with a little extra white and its a girl ...hope she has a few more in there or these will colic on all that milk.. I may have to send Mabel up to Shari Pratt and put her in the milk string to make some pig butter and cheese . Better get back out there I need to trim some umbilicals , I came to the house to wake up Jo and get my scissors ...pleasant dreams yall
