The trips to Europe below were a senior class package trip. (1989) The trip cost a modest $2500.00. While en route to Europe, we had nearly all of the coach section to ourselves. There were 15 of us. We had a blast for an 8 hour trans Atlantic flight. Sadly, upon our return flight, coach was almost fully booked. Munich, Germany is one of the most laid back cities I have ever been to. Czechoslovakia was still communist at that time. Our rooms were bugged. Our belongings gone through. Prague is beautiful beyond words. We were in Vienna, Austria. I ate at a McDonalds in Vienna. One more thing, In Germany I saw with my own eyes the mansion from The Sound of Music It was in the middle of a lake. You had to take a boat to get to it but we stayed on the bank. I hope to go back someday. This all happened 24 years ago. Wow!
