The truths in this devotional are so easy to say... and yet, why is it that we always fall back into that mindset that says that we have to earn our standing with God? The Law is what gives that idea its strength over us... the more we focus on The Law, the more we try to live it. So whats the answer to breaking this bondage? Absolutely recognizing that you will NEVER be able to keep The Law and focusing all of your attention on the One who did it FOR you... Jesus Christ! He knows that you cannot do it, thats why He had to come and do it for you! And all this time that youve been feeling like a failure and unworthy of His blessings, Hes been standing there and nodding His head saying Yep, I know, but I Love you in spite of it! I have MADE you in Righteousness and true Holiness and have MADE you accepted in my beloved Son! Wont you just let all of that go and just come and spend time with me trusting that Ive already got everything covered for you? I love you My child and NOTHING can change that EVER! That is the answer, my friends... I can tell you first hand... if you will do that, and just let it all go and accept the fact that He has accepted you just like you are and just fall into His arms, you will wonder why you waited so long! You become like those that you hang out with without even trying, so hang out with Him and watch how that radically changes everything!
