The turkey is brining, I have 2 pies in the oven: pumpkin and sweet potato, the former semi home-made (canned pumpkin, pre-made crust) and the latter frozen. The kitchen is mostly clean. I have cleaned the guest bathroom and unclogged the sink. Look at me, Im Martha f*ing Stewart! Now I must get back to my medical transcriptions, of which I still have quite a few to finish tonight... I MIGHT like the holidays if they were, in fact, a holiday. Oh, Hawk and do I get tomorrow off - unpaid - and we could also take Friday off too, if we wanted - also unpaid - but the fact is we cant afford to take ANY days off work. But I feel especially sympathetic to the people working in retail, like at Target or WalMart, who MUST work on the holiday or else lose their jobs... well, back to work now. I might get done by 3:00 a.m. if Im lucky, and I have an early day tomorrow. Will probably get up early, put the turkey in the oven and then go back to sleep!
