The video of the Wylie, TX City Hall council meeting is now available, although its only audio at this time. (Skip to 16:04 to start the citizen comment section and hear the Mayors opening statement.) We attended and spoke to the council, along with many of our neighbors. It was a great meeting, with a great outcome. We can definitely count on Mayor Hogue & the council for support in fighting against the toll road . They werent allowed to officially comment but they did clarify many points and are very clearly opposed to the Northeast Gateway Project project & Public Werks, Inc. use of eminent domain. They are working towards a strategy and a resolution with teeth to block the road in the city limits and the ETJ. Mayor Hogue also stressed that we need to blast the County Commissioners and our State Representatives, as we have done to his office.
