[READ, WATCH, SHARE] These girls, they may be young, but their hearts full of compassion. The first time I met them was when I was appealing for volunteers to handle the pups at an adoption drive. They are not exactly Buddys rescuer, not exactly Buddys walking companion, not exactly Buddys saviours, not exactly Buddys reason to be happy and not exactly Buddys source to recovery. They are Buddys FIVE-in-one, Buddys EVERYTHING, Buddys fighting spirit. Teenagers at their age, will be studying, shopping, hanging out with friends. Of course they do that on their weekends, but never before spending half of their day with Buddy. And by saying they do hang out with friends, being with Buddy was part of their time well spent together. Teenagers at their age, usually erks at the thought of cleaning up a shelter dog, give up when Buddy WAS having food aggression, run away when they face financial burden, or sought for transport just to bring Buddy to adoption drive and the beach. But, NONE of the above brought them away from Buddy. And face it, many of us, wouldnt dare to step into the long term commitment. They put down their ego, and seek help, publicly, making a YouTube video. Buddy has found someone committed to treat him to recovery. Buddy has found someone committed to find him a home. He needs ChemoTherapy, which may cost up to 10k. And its now needing all our help, financially (or if you have the supplements he needs), to keep him going. He deserves to roll in the grass for at least the next 10 years.. To donate, please contact Exclusively Mongrels in FB. Else, leave a message here (if you couldnt find), contact Sharon Oh or Pauline Doradora Ah.
