The video shows the way they raise rabbits for human consumption in the UK. Rabbits are eaten in Japan, too. Poor rabbits, do you say? All animals called livestock raised for human consumption, chickens, pigs, cows, sheep...they are treated in just the same way. “Free-range” does not make it any better. How you kill them, how you raise them and how you eat them makes no difference. A regular cow is expected live for 15 years, for example. A beef cow is slaughtered at the age of 5 or so because younger cows are supposed to be tastier. It’s the same for milk cows. Will you still keep eating animals? You say you love animals, but you eat animals other than dogs and cats, saying it’s OK because you are eating them gratefully. Do you realize it’s just an excuse to cover your greed to eat? Dog meat, cat meat, dolphin meat, whale meat, cow meat, lamb meat, rabbit meat… They are all animal meat. Only the types of animals killed to satisfy human greed for food are different among countries. We should realize only we humans are not part of the ecological food cycle. Plants have lives, of course. No life can be sustained without food. The choice is all up to you.
