The view from my window today....what a glorious way to leave the old and look forward into the new..... GABRIEL APPROACHED THE THRONE of God and knelt. Light and fire pulsed from the throne like a mighty heart and washed over Gabriel. The angel of The Lord shuddered in the wake of Gods presence as the flaming seraphim enveloped the Ancient of Days. All of heaven gathered around Gabriel and listened as God spoke. Gabriel, herald and horn. You have bore the message of redemption to Mary, the new arc of our Word, to Joseph, her guardian, and we are pleased. For your service, you shall be our beacon, a lamp to all humanity, guiding them to their Lord and King. In that moment, a spark escaped the throne of the Most High and drifted upon the celestial wind above Gabriel....... Reached out and cupped his hands as a spark settled within his palms. The Great Wind of the Holy Spirit then blew against Gabriel from the throne of God and the angel ignited in glorious flames. The legions of angels covered their faces and lay prostrate as Gabriel burned with the very passion of God. Full of the fire and light of God, Gabriel descended the heavenly firmament and burned with effulgent radiance above Bethlehem. ......We see how with the Angel Gabriel, and with Joseph, God summons light from darkness, faith from doubt, hope from despair, once we conform ourselves to His will........Gabriel ignites with the passion of God. Where he once suffered doubt he now glows as a testament of Gods love, glory and redemption. By allowing Christ in our lives we allow that same power to awaken the latent fires of our own soul which are ignited by the spirit of God, and attract others to Grace. Hark the Herald.... The Angels sing and with good reason....so do I.
